Honestly don't see a big diff between Quick Check and Wawa. Each store is run by a manager and the people in it and they make or break the quality/cleanliness. Inevitable that newer stores are usually better experience to go in but I miss the local mom and pop deli's that are going away because of these places.

There's a website www.meetup.com that you should look into. Lots of clubs for lots of interests. If there's nothing there, maybe it's time to try something new and join one of them. Do you Mountain bike? Ski? Play chess? Kayak? Hike? Like to discuss books? Try something new and maybe you'll meet some interesting people. I believe that you can audit classes at Princeton for free.

I think the other person suggesting you be a little more humble is recommending that you don't play off what you look like (very fit and good looking) and perhaps try attracting people by your personality instead.

Sincerely mean it, I wish you well.

Princeton Junction in West Windsor. There are Townhomes that we lived in that were 3/4 mile door to door (train door). N.E. Corridor train line has trains direct into NYC as well as Amtraks to Philly. And it's a fairly easy drive to philly. Wife worked in NY but was going to school on weekends in Philly and it worked wonderfully. Added bonus, schools in West Windsor are tops. Windsor Haven was the complex and it is off Bear Brook Rd. in Princeton Junction. Lots of great things about living there from a farmer's market near the train station in summer to a quick ride or drive into Princeton for all it offers. If you like to run or bike, there's also a canal bike/run path in princeton. One of the best places we've lived.

A lot of upper level execs at J&J live just across the border in PA (for financial reasons I'm sure). When we moved here, we debated it but my wife would've spent a lot of time on the road and time is something you can't get back and the financial savings weren't as noticeable ;-). We drew an approx 30 min commute around Somerville and looked to see if we could find something amenable. As you've probably figured by now, the further you get from the city and direct train lines into city, real estate tends to be less expensive.
