All I have to say is that I really enjoyed that 70s show, and as someone who was a teen in the 90s, this just doesn’t feel at all like what I experienced. The 90s references are forced and the style is way off. Also, the jokes aren’t very good and are killed by the constant laugh track. My husband and i turned it off after the second episode to find something better to watch.

I remember reading that he was shitfaced when they recorded it too. Part of what gives it so much spontaneity and character.
