As a property owner, this is what I do.

Only own in Texas. Each state has different laws.

But, this is the most straight forward way for everyone, I think.

Almost every comment is getting downvoted. Internet points don't really mean anything but just silly that people can't civilly disagree on something.

18" to me is a pretty sweet spot.

This is insane to want to continually increase the size. A laptop is meant to be portable. Anything my much larger loses its portability. They make docking stations for a reason. Buy a bigger monitor.

If you want to leave it stationary, you really want a desktop.
