To help in understanding how far away we are from Andromeda.... you can fit about ~23 Milky Ways, or ~11 Andromedas, from end-to-end in between the 2 galaxies currently. The diameter of the Milky Way id around 105,700 ly, while Andromeda is 220,000 ly in diameter.
Whiles its an unimaginable distance on a humans scale, they are basically right next to each other on a Universal scale.

What happened to the taboo of... you know, murder?

Since JWST cant see through stars, its more likely that star is behind the bottom left galaxy in this picture if it exists at all. They do appear to be in slightly different positions so its possible.

Not possible to see through a star, even for JWST.

Headlines like this do more harm than good (Russias intent)... because so many will read it with little context and say "Well then lets do it! If they want to be friends again!"
Youd think by now people would understand not to take things at face value alone, and to always be skeptical of everything.

Reply to comment by Aytanri- in Turkey in talks with Russia about using Syrian airspace in potential operation by [deleted]
That whole region has been fucked up a very long time. Before the US went in terrorist groups were everywhere just like they are today. Hell, before they went in a group of them even managed to coordinate well enough to hijack 4 planes and fly them into 3 US buildings killing thousands.
The problem is they will not bend at all on their archaic beliefs, and apparently their beliefs very, very easily lead to radicalism and extreme views. Not all are this way, I dont generalize... but an uncommonly high percentage are.
You mismashed multiple different topics into a few paragraphs like that sums it all up. Erdogan is himself a terrorist with Russian $ stuffed in every pocket.

Read what you just wrote.
Itd take the SPEED OF LIGHT 25,000 years to travel one light year.
Im perplexed at this statement. A light year, by name, is how far light travels in 1 year. In 25,000 years, light would travel 25,000 light years.
I hope this helps. Really, I hope this helps.
