Who are the communists and communist sympathizers in this scenario? Something about this does feel similar, but I'm not sure what because there are several groups they have to try to not offend.

Yeah, the way the media in the US was reporting this initially was pretty misleading. I haven't followed it since, but it wasn't a situation where the former president was the only one in the wrong.

Cut half the performances and just the floats at different points along the route. Like some good cinematography of NYC could go a long way.

It was on there, then moved to CNN+ with he first season remaining on HBO max, and then never moved back once CNN+ crashed.

Maybe. I thought it was a way of showing, somewhat abstractly, how the little man played a role in all of these classic movies, seen through the eyes of Manny who was helped create some of the fictional movies (I think) that started the montage off. Maybe this article says something different. I haven't read it. It was definitely the weakest part of the movie imo, seeing it twice.
