Don’t stand in front of the doors. If you must stand in front of the doors, do it on the side that won’t be opening. Simple as that.
He was an asshole, you were an asshole. Everybody lost. Congratulations.

Sorry, to be clear, I meant loading a Charlie card without having to be at a station. You can do it here
Since it’s stored value, you’d still need to tap at a fare machine or subway gate… so your kinda fucked if you want the bus.

You can technically do that, but the current interface is shit.

For what it’s worth, it seems like ALL the features won’t be out by 2024.
The only thing I care about is multi-door boarding on Green Line and buses.

Not a club atmosphere, but Trina’s Starlite and BackBar come to mind. Rock up to a bar seat, folks who work at both are rad.

Might be worth submitting a complaint to the FAA. I think complaints help inform them about where to spend noise mitigation money etc.
See here: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/noise_emissions/noise_complaints
But yeah, it’s also because winter. I don’t know if it’s because it’s cold and the air is dryer or because none of the trees have leaves, but it just hits different.

I bet those are LED tubes and not fluorescent. There’s been a rash of issues with LEDs “going blue” that stem from components manufactured just before the pandemic. If you Google it, there’s a rash of stories about streetlights turning blue etc etc.
