I got confirmation at 13.1 on 11/18 and an email on 11/24 saying there was a problem as well. Calling now.

Yep. Newer monitors you can get away with a few months without calibrating but as they get older they tend to shift colors often.

They are, but sometimes you're like me and forget to blow them out at night and wake up to a candle that is completely burned out.
