It would be cool, but the issues with DeJoy have been well known for a long time now and everyone is willfully ignoring it. MLK explained the dangers of moderates quite well in his Letter From Birmingham Jail. We need to stop expecting them to be something they are not and demand better.

Some would argue that anyone who is still a member of the Republican Party at this point is obviously fully embracing the ignorant hate and fascist politics that has become the Republican brand. You are the company you keep, after all. You don’t get to kick your feet up and claim to not be a part of something that you fully support with your vote.

This is also the biggest issue our society is dealing with. Tolerating far too much intolerance. You don’t have to take my word for it, folks like MLK and many others have been trying to get everyone to understand this for generations. Brush up on his thoughts about moderates in his letter from Birmingham jail.

Sharing Vermont orgs to support is very much Vermont-specific. Also, we do have LGBTQ+ folks in Vermont and yeah, this applies to them and their loved ones. If you don’t care to see it you can scroll on by.

Maybe there’s a different reason this post triggers you folks? Might want to reflect on that.

This is all very cute, but please don't downplay this POS's intentions. He's looking to create a domestic terrorist training facility. That is what he is showing us he wants to do. As you said, it doesn't seem like he is going for the media personality thing, so all that leaves is a compound for training domestic terrorists in preparation for the next January 6th.

There are computers at these libraries that offered many people their only access to the internet, you absolute dingus brain.

Librarians also do a whole lot more than put books on shelves. I know someone who works as a librarian at a school in CT and she teaches all the research classes. Online research classes. On computers. In the library.

I grew up here though, and I also have a daughter that is currently playing bball for her school in this state. I know for a fact they are using those slurs with a whole lot of hate behind it. They learned it from their parents who were doing it when I was playing as a kid.

Please do not give these people more credit than they deserve. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how racist a place Vermont is. We get away with a better reputation than we deserve simply because there is such an extreme lack of diversity here.

Again, making assumptions while telling others not to. I’m no fan of liberals, my friend. I not only read MLK’s letter from Birmingham jail, but I took it as gospel. Liberals (moderates) are doing far more damage to our country and society than the openly evil right-wing. MLK was right on the money with that one. Something all the libs that praise him seem to forget.

The only thing I don’t understand here is why someone like you would be using right-wing talking points and/or supporting that brand of politics.

No, tossing slurs around isn’t ok. At all. Ever. For any reason. Yet here you are, someone who has likely been a target of those slurs, arguing online that people shouldn’t care if others use them. You’re wrong. I’ve been a target of slurs as well despite your ignorant assumptions about who I am. Slurs aren’t ok, and arguing they are will only serve to make you look foolish every time.

I also see you deleted your initial comment…
