I disagree with your point of view. For a lot of people a pet is a stronger emotional bond than "human loved ones".

Oh, that explains. I thought he said such a specific number as 81mg because of some calculations. I couldn't understand why such a weird number.
(I don't live in the USA, so measurements here are different)

After reading the article, I'm left with the feeling that the 2 are correlated, but that the study disn't actually prove causation (even if it was a longitudinal study)
