Python statmodels is bad. It cannot handle hour data for example. Use R if you do time series.

This is just bad. Why use a century as sample size. What we define as AI researchers now, is in not even comparable 100 years ago. Like computers almost were non-existent. A better window would be 2000 -2020.

Stupid question. There is no time to code whole NN from scratch that actually can optimize a function.
Interviewer should ask use pytorch/tf to code a nn frame.

You have to make very weird code in Pandas to handle data on hour intervals (15:00, 16:00, 17:00 etc) with statmodels. In R this is no issue. Convert to tsibble and you are good to go.
