The owner of that quarry had parents who were heavily addicted to illicit drugs. He never had a good Christmas so he puts that Christmas tree up and leaves it there year round to remind all the children of Maine, who may share a similar upbringing, that there is hope on the horizon.

I lived in Brunswick- too populated. Moved to Gray- much better. Charming, it still a little cityish. Moved to Baldwin and I friggin love it! Areas of Baldwin can have close neighbors but I live on a road with no neighbors that can be seen or heard. Usually wildlife stuff is my action for the day now. I know Irma not as rural as northern Maine, but compared to what I’ve seen so far- I’ll take it every day
