I listen to enough instrumental music, or music in foreign languages or such extreme vocalisations that lyrics are definitely an afterthought.

Granted the more intelligible the lyrics are, the more they can detract from a song if I don't like them.

The first album I heard by The Ocean Collective was Pelagial. The musical concept is descending deeper into the oceans of Earth. So each song or suite of songs becomes slower and heavier as you journey deeper down. The vocalist rejoined the band and had a separate theme or concept for the lyrics, but the album is available both with and without vocals. I was lucky enough to catch them on this tour and they are fantastic live.

I caught the 20th anniversary tour Clash of the Titans. Megadeth, Slayer and Testament each had an album that was 20 years old: Rust in Peace, Seasons in the Abyss and Souls of Black. Every set began with their respective album, played start to finish. Those are either my absolute or among my favorite albums by those bands so it was great to hear all of the deep cuts live.
