I mean, where in the city are you looking to go or where are you coming from? There are SO many options depending. Or go see a movie at The Coolidge Corner Theater and walk around Brookline Booksmith after—great independent theater and arguably one of the best (and most fun) bookstores around. Perfect for browsing and chatting with friends while doing so.

Rozzie is super walkable but is not as densely filled with shops and restaurants as neighborhoods downtown. I moved to Roslindale because I loved walking in it so much. Besides relatively good sidewalks, we have the Arboretum which is a GREAT place to walk and are super close to Jamaica Pond and the Forest Hills Cemetery.
