Scott’s Addition is a great area to ride through. To walk I like leaving from Rocketts and heading to the Canal Walk. Deep Run Park is great too, with the bonus of playgrounds.

Down in Chesterfield Harry G Daniel park is really good too for stops and gyms, shorter trails than deep run and more level ground if you have a bad back and knees like me.

If Jason (Ducky) is still piercing there he’s the only one I would see. The whole place spiraled out with Brad’s son at the helm up here.

PLF’S Decemberween at Diversity. Big line of up RVA DJ’s, drink ticket included with entry. actual drink, not a piddly glass of ‘champagne’. Live artists, burlesque, fire spinners, and some food trucks will be there. Always a good time.

They just had a soft reopening. That old dirty couch ain’t going anywhere, thats where Billy gets all the money back that the strippers make in a night.

I came from Florida to RVA in ‘99. Was not a huge fan of VA until I went back to FL in 2012 to visit friends and family for a couple months. I’ll take the slow Richmond days over the chaos that is Ft Lauderdale, Boca, and Pompano. I haven’t been back and would actively avoid returning to the state should an opportunity arise.

People always ask how we handle the heat down there, it’s simple really….we don’t go outside after 8am or before 5pm and our air cons are top notch.
