A good test as to whether you are easily fooled is if you saw this picture and believed it was an actual Opium party.

From your lips to Byrne’s ears.
The Broadway concert he did was pretty spectacular - lot of talking heads tunes

I think Robert plant said something along the lines of “zeppelin created shoes so big even we can’t fill them”
Would love to see it though. Jimmy page would be down I bet.

I love those old Hollywood homes. Rock fireplace wall, shag carpeting (not pictured), everything tinted brown or green. Just pleasant homes with mellow vibes.
Gramps had one. Long gone now but the nostalgia hits hard when i see them.

One of my favorite old school hip hop albums is The Cactus Album by 3rd bass

They kind of rivaled The Beastie Boys w/ their style and it is from the era where you could sample almost anything w/o paying royalties - they'd never be able to make this album nowadays.

David Jones changed his last name to Bowie because he didn't want to be confused with Davy Jones from the Monkees.
Think of it as a chance to come up with a super cool name. Might I suggest Stevie Eagle.
But in all seriousness can you add a middle initial? Like mary j blige

Slash playing guitar in front of the church in the November Rain video was the coolest thing I ever saw and I wanted to do that at all costs. That started my guitar playing career 30 years ago.
For writing: I find that writing songs comes easier when I have something I want to say or talk about. Trying to write lyrics without that doesn’t work for me. I need a theme or a message.
There’s no one answer to how to do this, you just have to start.
If you want to start with vocals, study melodies and hooks.
