Its technically against fire code in most states as well. I think in my state its 15' from any wooden structures including fence.

Aside from that, it doesn't look dangerous to use. I don't think pavers would explode like river rocks, and MANY people build firepit out of the bricks, blocks and pavers found at Home Depot

I have this same problem with one of the roller bearings. I can't find it anywhere. Same situation with American Woodmark slide hardware. For now, everyone has to 'support' the drawer while taking things out of it. Its the bane of my wife, whos irritated that its been like that for a year.

Must use either oil based primer OR a bonding primer. Bonding primer designed specifically for such an application.

Must also clean the paneling well before hand

I would paint and repair fully, then silicone. I like to tape the sink before doing the silicone for a clean line. However, tape will often pull up fresh paint. =(
