Never heard anyone thinking that's success. But I've seen people being horrified of someone being a grandparent very young, like in their early 30s.

Wouldn't it still be the same? You think you have something to be proud of, but you just don't express it out loud. You would still seem humble to others, but are you really humble?

Sometimes maybe, but characters get fired all the time and still stay in the show.
This would be more accurate if you said character dying in a tv show is a person getting fired in real life. Although even that isn't always the case.
