Reply to Whoever started the trend of having sugar as a ingredient in drinks unintentionally killed countless people. by JJeezzyy
The salt to make you thirsty, the sugar to hide the salt and the caffeine to get you addicted. It's a vicious trick to get you to drink more of something that will have a profound impact on your health if you are incapable of self moderation.

Reply to TIFU, might have colon cancer by Im_InYour_Balls
Usually won't be bright red. It's usually dark almost black. Need a kit to detect blood in stool. My father survived colon cancer he had at aged 31 now 70. His sister died from colon cancer at age 68. Get the colonoscopy because by the time you do detect something wrong it's already too late.

Not sure you can remedy this other than trying to be entertaining because I can't recall many diy vid I sit through without skipping around. Even project farm videos I skip to end to see which products performed the best and actually feel guilty doing it.
I watch This Old House on topics I'm not even interested in because it's so poorly scripted when there are interactions; I get a laugh. Home Renovision is another channel I might watch an entire video because he sometimes throws in unrelated tips that are useful for a variety of applications. He has charisma.

Reply to Repainting exterior trim - old paint has lead in it by Alifeinmotion
Even if it really is lead and not oil-based it's the same solution. Prime and paint it. Get the zinnsser Peel Stop.
Just from the photo it don't look like lead to me, lead peels in a specific way like a fish net and the paint chips are very heavy and brittle. There is no way the finish would have lasted this many years either. It's probably oil and that requires you to prime it first anyway.
