My mom had been dead since 2010. I’m crying just typing those words. My close friend lost her 32 year old son in 2021, her mom and brother last November and her husband three weeks ago. I don’t know how she can cope. Her son had a stroke at 33. He was a really great young man.

I stayed there during Snowmaggedon. The power went out at my house and we drove down there in 3 feet of snow at 10:00 pm. It was me, two 13 year olds and my mom. Our room was facing east and we had the most glorious sunrise (forgot to close the blinds) down the river with snow gleaming. They gave us a late checkout and we had lunch and by the time we got home the power was on. A very good memory.

This little test is a real eye opener on childhood trauma. I suggest you take it so you have an idea that what you went thru will affect you. All the other advice in here is really great.
