I don't remember that line. AFAIK, we don't know Truman's biological father.
If English is not your first language, may I suggest that you probably watched a bad translation back then, where the translator had just made that up?

Coming to think of it, if someone asked me where the bathroom is in my apartment, I don't think I could verbalize how to find it. I would just say "there" pointing with my finger. I mean, I'm not talking to a robot, am I, to specify the door number lol.

The Cell is an amazing cinematic masterpiece! Sadly, so underrated.

Silent Hill (2006) with Radha Mitchell was an amazing thriller! But then again, I don't play computer games, so I don't know if it's a good adaptation.

Uncoupled was really great as a gay male version of Sex and the City lol. Really good! Definitely recommend!
