I use the redemption center at Austin Liquor. You have to feed the cans and bottles into the machines yourself, but these machines are newer and better maintained than any of the ones I've tried at various grocery stores.

It's too bad the abandoned Danvers Asylum has long since been torn down. I don't think I've ever been somewhere creepier in my life!

Man, I got a pack of Dutch cigarettes there back in the 90's that was just a plain black pack with a white skull and crossbones on it, and despite being filtered they were stronger/more harsh than any unfiltered cigarette I'd ever had... and I came down with bronchitis two days later.
With The Owl Shop leaving town, this was my last opportunity to have an excuse for telling that pointless story. 😁

I don't know.. the one I go to is on Gold Star Blvd, next to Price Rite
