Pretty sure most of the themes were revealed in the first part of the movie... that's generally how things work. Inter-generational conflict, Asian-American identity, belonging, scraping by... my family lived through all these things.

Why are people so personally offended when someone has a differing opinion on a movie? If you enjoyed it, great, I'm happy for you. Move on.

I couldn't stand this movie and had to turn it off during the dildo fight. Being an Asian American immigrant, it should have been right up my wheelhouse, but I found it overbearing and exhausting almost immediately. It's trying way too hard to be edgy and clever. Most of the themes were explored way more effectively in movies like "The Farewell".

Having said that, anyone who talks in a theater during a movie is an insufferable POS.
