Depends on what is understood as horseshoe theory. Both sides arrive at the same solution, but for very different reasons.

Designing interplanetary probes takes years because if can take years and you put time and effort into designing experiments. If there is time pressure it can be done faster.

Yes, wealth is not just money. It is life knowledge and wisdom, self confidence, acceptance among people, habits.
Wealth is a multi-generational project. This is not inherently bad or unfair. What we need is to use this process to help rise more people. Help parents in need, so that they can get knowledge necessary, but also help kids move beyond their parents, help them get out of the lock-in effects.

Yeah, Roman math sucked. Indian math was really good and it was really the foundation of the math we use today.
But Romans were really good at logistics and manufacturing. That's something that India lacked.
