I hear that often but you have to see that in perspective with other hobbies.Years ago photography was my hobby. With 60+ camera's and uncountable lenses, scanners and printers that hobby is far more expensive. A sole lens can cost more than a thousant dollars.Friends of mine have automobile hobby. They like classic cars and not only invest in those cars but also in spare parts, monthly rent for garages etc....

The keyboard hobby is in comparison to these hobbies very very modest.I can lurk weeks for a set of switches costing 50 cents a piece and still not making a decission.

Agreed that is what I was thinking as well, the mint greenish isn't '76.
The popularity of that color came later.

That said, this setup is great and it must be fun to work on.
