Totally agree. Other than the Baum character dealing with his brother's suicide, TBS is pretty light-hearted while showing us such a serious topic. Great fun, but also great education.

Margin Call is great drama from beginning to end and I watch it a couple times a year since the dialogue is just so damn good.

The thing that makes most movies enjoyable or at least watchable is plot and dialogue/character interaction. Black Adam failed at all of those for me, typical of most DC movies. I'd say it was even worse than WW84, which is a damn low bar. Such superficial attention paid to everything the movies get boring and make me think money is the sole reason DC movies exist at all, with no attention or care about the actual art. There's no pride there.

I only watched the entire movie because I wanted to see if there were any redeeming qualities at all, trying to see if the director maybe got lucky at various parts. Nope, bad from start to finish.

Most of the Marvel flicks had great dialogue and characters, and humor at just the right times. Enough to keep me interested in what happens, often making me care about what happened with the characters. Nat and Clint interaction in Endgame was a good example. DC seems to butcher those interactions.
