Plenty of younger artists are making really interesting rap, but the more interesting stuff isn’t as big - little simz, noname, earthgang, saba, I love stuff like that. But Tyler the creator, Kendrick, gambino - there’s huge name younger artists that are excellent as well.

The plot is pretty damn convoluted for an adult movie.

Good to know. I feel like with better timing it could’ve found an audience on Showtime - like if it had followed up Yellowjackets and they could market the hell of it to that audience. C’est la vie

I saw LTROI didn’t get renewed - did the first season wrap up the story in a satisfactory way? Been debating watching it.

Except they said it's an old movie, possibly black and white, and maybe not in English. I think they could be looking for The Seventh Seal (which is not entirely in a room but otherwise was my first thought).

TV content spend has been astronomical for the last ten years or so thanks to streaming. This is ultimately just a correction back to a more sane level as many of those streaming services aren’t making money, and some could start to fold in the next few years.
