I don’t give up on snow until after my birthday in early April. Not that I’m advocating for it, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

The promo video on their website shows a DD cup, so you’re probably right.

The cricket pitches that I know of in my area were set up by the local West Indian population. A bit of googling shows me that there is a local league with 2 divisions.

I lived about a block and a half away on Kenyon St. for a few years. As others have said, that is a very nice area of Hartford. Very safe. The address you gave is even closer to Elizabeth Park than where I was, so to me that’s a big plus.

This was what I was coming to understand as well. I was interested to see if anyone had this sort of experience, which is in keeping with the spirit of your post. Thanks for posting!

Can you switch to another supplier before the contract ends? I’m looking to switch as well, but don’t want to get stuck with a rate for however many months when something better comes along.

When I was a kid, the Simsbury Historical Society’s main property was called Massaco Plantation. I always thought it was a cool tribute to the former tribe.

They were a real tribe from around North central CT. There’s a Podunk river in East Hartford/South Windsor.

That’s right. My high school’s drama teacher was the lead Santa and recruiter. I don’t know how many they had working, but that’s how my brother came to work there. He did it a few times.

I don’t remember the Halloween one, but my brother worked as a Santa for the Xmas one.

Yeah I didn’t eat out much with that family, and they had really only a couple of places they liked to go to—that weren’t in town.
That good to hear about Oliva, though. Their menu looks appetizing.

No kidding! My ex is from Bethlehem. I don’t remember much but about the town, but I wouldn’t say that I ever saw an “ethnic” restaurant or shop there.
