Springfield and Hartford are essentially one metro area.

This was fun, thanks! I got 19/20...the only one I had trouble locating was Fitchburg. For some reason I always picture Fitchburg as being in the MetroWest area.

Wow tbh I totally forgot this was still happening. The prices around here are still very high despite the "savings". Two weeks ago I filled my tank at $3.30 a gallon in Brooklyn. Last weekend I filled up in Massachusetts at $2.89. If the prices shoot up overnight to near $4 a gallon when the rest of the northeast is much cheaper, I'm gonna be pissed.

This is very helpful. I’m driving up to MA from NYC and trying to figure out the best tome to leave. From this graphic seems like best time (to avoid the worst of it) is this evening or tomorrow am. Was planning on driving overnight but that ain’t gonna happen.

Yeah, that makes sense. When I left NYC for 6 months during the pandemic, listening to WINS helped me feel connected to the city for sure.

May I ask why you listen to WINS? They may claim to "give you the world" but it's really like 90% tristate area news and traffic/weather and maybe 10% other domestic/international headlines

I'm aware. I'm an urban planner. I was merely pointing out Springfield and Hartford being part of the same metro to highlight how far south Springfield is. I believe only 25 miles or so separate the two cities. The dot may look too far south to you because the dot itself is probably much larger than the city at that scale.
