I am 57 and have no problem dying any day. It’s been a roller coaster ride but I have achieved everything I hoped for. I still work part time and have a lot of hobbies, just no goals.

Reply to The killer ground drone revolution is here. The Netherlands has deployed four armed ground robots or unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), making it the first NATO country to do so. The robots are Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry Systems (THeMIS) UGVs built by the Estonian defense company Milrem Robotics. by mossadnik
They are too slow to be a difference maker on a large outdoor battlefield like Ukraine but could be useful in clearing dwellings in urban areas. Flying drones are still the most effective robotic soldiers.

I hear you. Been battling bipolar disorder for 35 years. Worked my ass off and have had a pretty good life. Now I have lung cancer and I never even smoked. I am only 56 as well.

It’s still hard to watch friends of mine inherit millions while I had to go in to debt to put my kids through college. Try working hard and balancing family and finances with a serious mental disorder.

My son in law got rejected by every medical school after he got his bachelors degree. He then got into a masters program at Boston University. Their program is supposed to help you get into medical school. He got into Drexel (Philadelphia) and is now in his first year of residency to become an ER physician. Don’t give up if this is what you really want.
