Wait, what do you mean by "almost the Christmas Season"? It looks like OP posted on Christmas Eve, but do you not start celebrating anything until Christmas day? Do you put decorations before December 25th?

My friend's kindle e-reader has blue light (and no option to make the light yellow), but maybe it's an older version?

Reading before bed can be a double-edged sword. Sometimes it helps me sleep, especially if I can't sleep because of anxiety about something. Getting my brain to focus on the story helps me not fixate on whatever is keeping me from sleeping.
However, sometimes the book is what keeps me from sleeping, and I'm a zombie the next day regardless

I'm always browsing Kobo's sales. I've found some really amazing books that way (and also a couple clunkers that taught me to always read the sample downloads), plus a lot of books I was already interested in reading. A lot of popular books end up in their sales, you just have to be on the look out for them. A lot of classics can also be gotten super cheap on their website, like a single "book" that's actually comprised of like fifty books for $2.99.

The Three Body Problem trilogy. I think it will fit what you're looking for exactly

They're free where I live in the US. Also usually they can order the books you want
