The first episode was hard to follow, slow moving, left too many things only obliquely hinted at instead of setting them up a bit more accessibly. It improved pretty quickly and has gotten pretty darn good. I rank it behind Strange New Worlds but ahead of Lower Decks.

Saw Tom Cora when he was in Curlew in late 1992/early 1993 - got autographs from the whole band, who were all very cool and nice. Still especially sad he passed so much too soon.
