This is a relatively naive comment and underestimates diet soda *addiction*, certainly in the US.
The singular conclusion that sucralose can help replace immunosuppression therapies - without addressing the obvious question, what is the effect of sucralose on the global immunosuppression of its users, seems to be a missed opportunity. It follows that we would want to understand if we have a public health issue not so much whether we have a new immunosuppression therapy.
