Glad you recognize that. Bottom line English is a very quirky language in spelling and pronunciation and if you try to make it make sense sometimes you'll end up being disappointed

Not to be pedantic, but Human Nature was not written for Toto IV . Steve himself says that they were mixing Africa (the final track on Toto IV) and that is when his daughter had the incident at school that inspired the use of the phrase as a song title.
