What teen drama isn’t also a romance show? This is a pointless and stupid discussion. They’re all teen dramas. They’re also different shows. I agree.

Of course it is. Just because it doesn’t match other shows doesn’t mean that the core part of a teen drama isn’t there. It’s as much a teen drama as Smallville’s earlier seasons were and it’s not surprising that the same creators found a similar format for Wednesday.

First season was not only ridiculous, but one of the worst shows I watched that year. Cranston was great in Breaking Bad and has been entertaining here and there, but he’s not must see tv for me.

A lot of great pilots. Many already mentioned here. My favorite is The Shield. Fringe‘s two-hour pilot is kind of fantastic too.

I loved the ending, but your assumption that people who didn’t like it also must not have understood is wrong. I’ve known people who liked it and who didn’t like it, but they all understood it. Such is life that people have different opinions about subjective pieces of art.
