How about the monetary benefits of reduced liability because you can watch your chefs and make sure they are following food safety rules. I've done 3rd party mock health inspections of restaurants and when it gets busy and the new guy, for a real example, then forgets that you can't use the same sink of running water to thaw shellfish and fin fish as this would allow cross-contamination between two major allergens. There's already a lot of real time digital monitoring of kitchen worker's performance in some major chains. Like I can't get them to stop what they are doing so I can open the check the temp of the chill drawer in front of them. They just can't afford to lose the time in preparing your order. Honestly with computer vision and robot dexterity where it's at it doesn't seem like we're too far away from robochefs that can make meals. It won't be able to make everything but it will be able to replace a lot of labor and that will incentivize restaurants to use them and to develop menus that are more robo-friendly.

Have you tried letting ChatGPT comment your code. I don't really make comments anymore because it can summarize what the code does more concisely and type it quicker than I can. I haven't tried it with anything terribly complex but it's already a huge time saver there.

There's a whole think tank report on this technology trend and the consequences. I don't know if they are a little optimistic on the timelines, but the science and economics is sound.

I used ChatGPT to combine data from this report and the USDA Ag census to do a back of the envelop calculation on how much water will be saved in a certain region and what would happen if most of that water made it back to the dying lake it was diverted from.

Not that far away. Look at a company called Openwater. They are making a wearing MRI that could potentially have significant better resolution too. This technology may also allow electronic telepathy. I can't remember her name but the watch the CEO's Ted Talk. She's behind some of Facebook's technology and the One laptop per Child org.

Cellular Agriculture is going to radically transform our food system. It's going to become cheaper to eat animal protein made from precision fermentation and cultured meat. When you're on government assistance because AI took your job, you just won't be able to afford the real stuff anymore. This will bankrupt so many farmers. A lot of farm land is about to go back to prairie. Rural communities will be destroyed. This will be happening along side the AI arms race we have going on right now.
