Their pastries are delicious, though a bit pricey. Taste like they are made with quality ingredients. Don’t always have the same ones, but can vouch for egg tarts, cinnamon roll, scones, and donuts.

During the pandemic they said hours were limited due to staffing issues. Not sure why are keeping same hours now.

It can also be incredibly inefficient. The lines are long due to lack of optimization. It shouldn’t take 30min to get through a dozen or so customers (which is how long the wait to get to register can be if big line up).

It does seem like a lost opportunity during early afternoon/end of school hours. Even if they just did coffee and pastries, seems like they’d make a killing.

Yup, similar to the Morgan and 10 provost, this building has a section of floors that stick out more than the rest.

They are all part of the 4 stage project by toll brothers. There’s a 4th building supposed to go at corner of Marin & Bay when they finish this.

I live in downtown condo building and we give each staff member a separate holiday card with cash (typically $125 to super, $100 each to concierge, $25 to each porter with some adjustment for part-timers or those that just joined building).

For rental buildings, it’s more of a plus than a clear expectation. And $ amount lower than a condo building. Give if you can, and especially if you have a lot of interactions with staff (for instance if they’re receiving a ton of packages for you).

Giving a lump sum for an entire team feels like it leaves too much to discretion of the team lead. But can make sense if don’t have way to get everyone’s names.
