It’s funny you say that, some early excavations in the area found evidence of pretty large fires from the Shawnee Indians and was later used for smelting I believe.

I love that! Thank you, for sharing. It’s an amazing place. Normally really crowded but the snow kept some folks away.

Yes, and a panorama. The scale of this place is MASSIVE! That fallen rock on the right is well over 10 ft tall.
