Not sure about "forgettable". But I read/saw online that the theme for the live action The Lion King was very sloppily and poorly put together. And apparently Hans Zimmer had almost no involvement (even though his name is on it). Though how true it is, I do not know.

Can't speak out of experience myself. But the first game will always be there, no?

TLDR; It's not meant to be a shooter.
I think you're confusing or missing the actual point of the game. The limited ammo mechanic isn't just a difficulty modifier, it part of RE's DNA. That's how survival horror works. Now whether zombies should die with one headshot or not is probably a lore discussion. But I think it might just not be "your kind of game". As cliché as that might sound.
Personally, I have tried multiple times to play and enjoy Souls-Bourne games. But I just can't. Doesn't mean the games are bad or have dumb mechanics. It's just not a genre I enjoy. So I just watch other people finish them in ever more impossible ways.

Not too relevant to the post. But Minecraft has always had this uncanny ability to make me want to play the game every time I see a picture/screenshot of it. I'm most likely not going to. But it always gets the nostalgia juices flowing.

Apart from the many silly stuff I can mention. I'm pretty convinced that games have either given or help develop my ability to fix stuff. E.g to be able to sit for hours and fuss over a problem until you can figure it out or fix it. Which is a very valuable skill to have as a software developer.

This is not an objective view. It doesn't say much if anything. If you want to compare themes, gameplay, levelling loop, endgame and lore to determine an objectively "best" game, go for it. But I've found myself actively disliking some of the highest rated games out there because of subjective taste. It usually counts for more in my opinion.

Last one was SWtOR. I always find myself going back to it. Always a good time as well. But it never captures me for long.

Good thing you know exactly what other people like and enjoy. Since subjective taste doesn't play a role at all...
Sarcasm aside, I've tried BDO on multiple occasions, and it's one of the worst MMO experiences I've had. Not saying it's a bad game, just not for me.

This is a weird take. Even if you personally dislike the film (which is fine). It's still an objectively well made film. From acting, sets, sound design and overall story told.

That's unfortunate. One of my friends also dislike this style. But I convinced him to at least give it a try. A few minutes in and he was hooked.

Depends on you location/region. It's possible the games connects to a sever on a different content for example. Which would increase latency a lot.

The headphones themselves make by far the biggest difference. You might be able to hear the difference if you have an A/B of the tracks (mp3/flac).
Bottom line for me. I really like music. So I buy nice headphones. Simple as that.

I really liked the theme from Maverick. Great evolution from the original in my opinion. But come to think of it, I didn't even remember WW84's theme until you just mentioned it.
