Photons fall under the category of bosons. They have a spin of 1.

Reply to comment by RunningToStayStill in why do series shows always have so many seemingly random people directing every episode? by OctoberRust13
That's not really true. It's been pretty common way before those shows.
The real reason is that it's the easiest way to get as many episodes in as possible in the least amount of time.

That's crazy. Why should a literature degree cost as much as a chemistry degree when the logistics aren't the same? There aren't any labs to maintain or chemicals to stock up in order to teach literature.

Non-American here: does the tution fee differ from course to course? For example, a degree in medicine costs more than a degree in history in my country.

What's even more interesting is that the majority of these jobs are either government jobs or jobs in state-owned corporations.

This must be the third airline post I've seen by you and all I can conclude is that either there isn't much money in operating airlines, or these companies are indulging in Hollywood levels of accounting.

I'm just explaining why the service sector contributes so much to the GDP. The value of a service doesn't need to be high, but the fact that so many people out there are creating services over goods could be why the contribution of the service sector is so high.

Service sector has a such a broad definition, that you would count the security guard and the supervisors at factories as "service sector" employees and not "manufacturing sector" employees. Any job where you're not directly growing something or making a good is considered a service sector job.

>"developed" economies
You put developed in quotations, even even our own economy has a lot of deep rooted problems. Unemployment is high, per capita income is low and there aren't a lot of opportunities. People with mechanical, chemical and civil engineering degree ultimately have to learn coding and join the IT sector because of a dearth of good paying jobs in their respective fields. How can you say that we're faring better when we can't provide enough opportunities to mechanical and civil engineers? What does it say about our economy where there aren't enough industries to absorb them?
Go spend a couple of months in these "developed" countries to see how much more we need to improve. Hell, you can even go to the "developing" nations of China and Vietnam. Some of us criticize the way things are in this country so that we can improve it, not because we're "psuedo-intellectuals".
