There are some splendid scenes at the end, when all sorts of demons ruse up and kill people in all sorts of ways...most of that is cut.

Beats the hell out of me. You should what they do to the remake of Hellboy, its nearly as sanitized as the remake of Hellraiser.

The lack of live footage on launch was disappointing, as was the CGI.

If you're watching it here in the UK, they usually cut that line at the end about 'farming in shit'. Makes the scene very awkward, and is a pointless cut.

Get the original novel. They've toned the film down, and they censored it further for TV.
