Last week I was leaving harbor east and within one block I had to go around a truck stuck in the intersection, wait for pedestrians, dodge a trash truck backing up, and scoot around a huge pothole. All while staying in my lane. I pulled up to the 2-way stop with my left turn signal on and assess traffic. I wasn’t clear to turn, but the psycho behind me pulls up to my left to try to take the intersection. I honked and she looked shocked and said “are you turning? you’re all over the road, do you know how to drive, how am I supposed to know what the fuck you’re doing?!” Then she cut off traffic in both directions and sped away. Black BMW with super dark windows.

Honestly when she pulled up and rolled the window down, I thought she might pull a gun or something. Very sorry to OP for their experience. Lots of real shitty people out there.

I have had this experience in the Mt Vernon store a bit, I tend to go to Baby's instead (the Bun Shop doesn't exist to me). I had coffee catered for an event from the Harbor East/Fells Ceremony location, though, and they were amazing. Perfectly punctual, prepared, and communicative. My boss wanted us to get Dunkin but everyone was so happy to have Ceremony.

Odette and Maggie (McDonald?) came to speak to my Maryland Legislation class at UB, they were awesome. I think Maggie retired, she seemed very impressive. Odette seemed very knowledgeable and passionate about the city’s issues, barriers, and ways to help, and realistic about the role of city council. I think it was really valuable to have city council members come to class, I feel like they’re often overlooked for bigger offices but they are important.
