Reply to comment by AntiworkDPT-OCS in Ukraine proposes creating mechanism for auditing US aid for recovery projects by progress18
How does the scale at which this aid could be implemented change things? Like, I imagine Ukraine will need a LOT of aid to rebuild, and relatively fast. Are these aid organizations equipped to account for that much money that quickly?

Reply to If I had two cups of water, one normal size and one as big as a swimming pool and stirred them both with proportionally sized spoons, would the larger pool of water keep spiraling longer than the smaller? by r3volc
That depends on how much velocity you give the water. If it’s spiralling at a similar rate then the outside water of the pool will have a higher velocity than the outside of the cup, that higher velocity means a massively larger amount of energy which will take a LOT longer to dissipate

Canada sure would, but it would mean very little in the grand scheme of things.
Canada has 68,000 regular force soldiers. That’s 44,000 army, 8,300 navy, and 12,000 Air Force spread out all over Canada. Fort Bragg has 58,000 military personnel in ONE BASE.
Canadian Air Force has 430 operational aircraft. US Airforce has 936 operational F-16s alone.
Canada helping the US in war is like a child helping Messi play football. It’s cute, but only happens to gain their parents (NATO) support.

The only way we could meaningfully help the US is by convincing other NATO missions to tag along.

No laminar flow needed. It’s impossible to perfectly seal a room like that (well, not impossible. Just extremely expensive) so they pump in a large volume of fresh filtered air which ensures that any leaks result in filtered air escaping out instead of unfiltered air sneaking in.

Reply to comment by Jazzlike-Equipment45 in Australia and France announce joint plan to supply Ukraine with artillery shells by TheGuvnor247
For those that are wondering, the Ardennes offensive was 6 weeks.
The USA used 1.2 million artillery rounds in 6 weeks. That’s 1,100 shells per hour, every hour, for a month and a half
