Most of this started with the Telecom Act of 1996 which "Deregulated" media outlet laws that forbade any one person/entity from owning too many outlets in a given region here in the US. This allowed for and all but forced localities to make their own news, but once Newspapers and News Channels began to "merge" so did their outlooks. We've all seen the vid on YT of the "Local News Anchors" reading their Corporate Propaganda spiel from the single company that owns Dozens of "local news outlets".
Obama then put the nail in the coffin when he over turned a law forbidding the use of US State-Sponsored Propaganda here at home. We have to fight "Terrorism", remember, so we "have" to deploy Propaganda on the populace, or the Taliban wins, amirite? That's how we got amazing "Media Resources" like Reddit, Twitter and Tik-Tok that work hand-in-glove with the US Feds and various other "Foreign Entities" to "shape the media narrative".
See history of great folks like Ghislane Maxwell and her Daddy and their ties to very intellectually Liberal and level-headed outlets, like Reddit, which never use bots, mods, algorithms or literal paid brigades of "Commenters" to slide threads into oblivion.
Prove me wrong :)

If I read you right, you're saying the Globalist Corporate Media Cabals....I mean "Conglomerates", formerly known as "The Press", actively lie and shape the Public Narrative. Who could ever dream of such a thing? A profit-motivated Lying Press Sounds down right conspiratorial.....Also sounds incredibly accurate and like something we've all heard before. If only we had listened.
Pro Tip: You "Press" is just another person's "Propaganda".

Reddit's No. 1 Mod is Ghislane Maxwell, need I say more? Oh, sweet irony. Look into her very ethical "Media Mogul" Daddy. She's a chip off the ol' block. While you're at, see who else in our beloved "Modern Media" shares some of the same traits and values as the Maxwells. In the end, the answer is always the same. Follow. The. Money. Once you know who is paying "Producers" to create "Stories" for mass consumption, you'll understand their motives entirely.
Again, Reddit's No. 1 Mod is Ghislane Maxwell....entirely by "cohincidence", of course ;) Prove me wrong :)

Slaves don't really have much choice when it comes to "loyalty" to the person that owns them, do they?

Reply to Fingering techniques by ssplendadaddy
#1 trick is to not avoid using your pinky. It's amazing how many "great" players basically only use 3 fingers on their fretting hand. They're effectively diminishing (get it?) their fretting capacity by 25% for no reason whatsoever. No other instruments do this and they never have "pinky issues" because they learn to use them from the start. The same is true when learning to type, or any sort of fine motor skill. The more you avoid learning proper technique from the start, the harder it will be to learn it down the line. Bad habits are hard to break.
This where the whole idea where "proper" fingerings come into play. Just because you could reach a note with your ring finger, doesn't mean you should in the same way that you could lift a boulder with your back, rather than your legs, but that wouldn't be very wise, either. You might get away with it when young, but you'll pay the price in time.
Generally speaking, "every finger has a fret", so if your going to reach from the 3rd to the 6th fret, make yourself use your index and pinky fingers, even if you could stretch. It's no different than using "proper form" when lifting weights. Ultimately, good technique exists to protect you and make you better, but only if you use it.
Lots of acoustic guitar/bass playing will also help to strengthen your left hand. It really forces you to have strong fretting and intonation. Using slightly larger gauge strings than normal can also enhance the challenge.
There are lots of Classical Etudes, "Studies" and exercises you can do, as well. They aren't always very "musical", per se, but think of them like going to the gym, so you can play well on the field later. Check out "24 permutations for the Guitar" if you want just a bone dry, but very rigorous exercise. Another approach is to pick a song you know/like and then forcing yourself to arrange and play it using "proper" fingering, rather than your normal instincts. Some Guitar/Bass exercises will even use indicated fingers for the left hand, but usually only on very simple/basic beginner books. I like all the CAGED patterns and associated fingerings, as well.
Arpeggios are another great way to strengthen your fingers while also training your ear. For example, reaching for the minor third/major third on the low E string using your index and pinky fingers is always a good default pattern to build up the pinky too. Although, there are many other possibilities, as well. Paganini Caprices are great, shreddy challenges that will force you to use proper fingerings. Most non-violin folks learn the 5th and 24th. Something like the Bach Cello Suite No. 1 in G major is another great acoustic practice piece that is also very popular and fun to play.
Ultimately, you just have to do what you know what you're "supposed" to do. Slow down, think about how you're playing what you're playing and make yourself do it the "hard" way. It will only feel "weird"/"weak" for a little while, but before you know it, you'll be up to speed in no time. "Use it, or lose it ;) "
Form = Function

...and/or the decline in your property value if you had a decent place where one of these "experiments" was implemented nearby.
If it "works" it will attract "the poors and other riff-raff", which will, in turn only lower neighboring property values even more.
The folks with the 30 year mortgages have lots more to loose than the gun-toating Junkies, I think we can all agree.
It will also simply become another ever-expanding, govt.-funded, corrupt mess. We all know who is gonna get the contracts for the "renovations" too ;)

Not true at all. There are places that are far more poor than these areas and have far less violence. Thanks for demonizing poor people though!

More vague language that proves nothing. Somehow rewarding people who are already "less than desirable" with free housing, paid for by tax payers, is not going to end well in the long run. Creating an entire class of folks that are criminals and also wards of the State is a recipe for disaster.
Who here is willing to have one of these renovated properties move in next to them? Are regular people/families that aren't prone to gun violence being given renovated homes as a reward for doing things right?
Seems like we have our priorities backwards.

Which proves there never was some sort of "pure, unbroken line" of paternity, or maternity. Of course, there isn't even agreement on which form of decent is "correct". It's maternal in the OT, sometimes paternal by "tradition"/surname and either/both/neither, as needed thereafter. Not even Israel can/will define the term, much less the myriad "religious interpretations", as if they have any place in Science, or the study of genetics.
Until such time as even a basic definition of terms can be agreed upon, all of these "studies" are a waste of time and money.

...but the mother does, according to Deuteronomy. Can't have it both ways. If you're a "tribal nation", that just means close blood relations, which have to be defined, but never are. "Traditions" and "interpretations" are non-scientific and serve no purpose. DNA doesn't lie. That's why people hate it.

Forced State-Sponsored media....what could go wrong? I'm sure they'll be very rigorous on the folks paying their salaries, and if not they can always go to another, independent paper and get another job, right? Wrong. Statism is NEVER the answer ;) What sort of "study" could check the "efficiency"(wtf?) of State-Sponsored Propaganda? .....an equally biases State-Sponsored "study", no doubt.
If you were more skeptical and educated about the history of your own beloved "German" Press over the years, I don't think you would even consider this as a "solution" to the question at hand.
