I’m not going to lie, it will be difficult to find a house in a nice neighborhood in New Haven with a reasonable budget to fit your salary. Aside from housing costs, what is your monthly budget? What can you afford to spend on a mortgage? Down payment?

Amity is the only high school outside of Fairfield county to ever hit the top 5. Apparently, their ranking has dropped, but theyre still in the top 20.

Orange has one of the top 5 high schools in the state. Easy access to all the amenities and a nice quiet town.

Do you have a car? You’ll find cheaper rents in the valley - Ansonia, Derby, Seymour, Shelton and will still be about 20 minutes away from either Fairfield or New Haven.
