Know your rights! These are your rights! All three of them.

1. You have the right not to be killed. Murder is a crime. Unless it was done by a policeman or an aristocrat.

2. You have the right to food money. Providing, of course, you don't mind a little investigation, humiliation.

3. You have the right to free speech. As long as, you're not dumb enought to actually try it.

Oh man, totally forgot about the awesome opening credits expousing so much about the world-building in a few minutes.

I do not know if the following story is true. My ecology grad professor said that back in the 1970's when the film was initially released that in some theaters across the country the screen was attacked by the audience with drinks, food, knives to tear apart, due to the shock of the ending. :(

I first saw this film a few years ago in my Ecology grad course! I am conflicted about Soylent Green. The film has so many awful flaws, but the world building and message building are haunting and come through loud and clear.

Hey, hey, hey! The U.S. would never never never ever work to overthrow a foreign government since they are lapdogs of Israel.

Shame that the U.S. cannot spend similar amounts of money on their own citizens (healthcare, safety nets, infrastructure). Oh well, I guess it shows how the Military Industrial Complex rules the U.S.

Israel and their lapdog the U.S. are definitely sponsors of terrorism.
