I've had all of the New Haven pies, 'olo is decently close and satisfying and I like Newton Sq Pizza though that's more greek-style. Greendale pizza makes a nice greasy pie. Volturno is high on my list as well but it's not everyone's cup of pizza. I like a lot of different styles of pizza, they all have their plusses and minuses. If all you like is New Haven style, you can always find a Frank Pepe's franchise in a few places in NE.

'Olo gets the pepperoni right. Cups that crisp up with oil in the center. Decently close thin crust too. Give it a try if you haven't.

Agree. I actually found a few places they come into my house and I just stick snap traps along the wall at the opening. So there are maybe 6 traps along the row on each side of the hole with a few stuck right up to the entrance.

If one mouse gets in one and flips it, the next trap will catch the next mouse. I've had several in the traps at the same time. I catch a few dozen a year and no longer see mouse trails around the house. Better to find where they enter and put traps down. If you seal it, they'll just find another spot you can't figure out. No need for bait either when you know where they enter.

They travel along walls and will walk right through the trap. The downside is the bait encourages them to get their head snapped. No bait, you end up with the mouse in different arrangements, but still dead.

I use the plastic kind with large teeth. Other traps may not work as well with the no-bait technique:

I never play games that require fast ping times so for me Spectrum has been pretty great for the years I've had it. My biggest gripe is the upload speed. I get ~525/25mbps now paying for the premium tier so I could upgrade from 10mbps to 25mbps.

But sometimes I check buffer bloat and run other tests on the connection and I feel like if I was playing Unreal Tournament like I did years ago on DSL, it would suck.

So, yeah, Spectrum sucks if you want to play games lag free.

It's possible you might be able to improve your experience. I haven't tried digging into this much, but:

It's possible your router could be adjusted and or replaced. Also possibly you can do something with Spectrum's modem. I would call Spectrum support and get a tech to your house to troubleshoot bufferbloat.

Plug your computer directly into Spectrum's modem and bypass your router and see if games play better. That will help you figure out where the issue lies (your stuff/Spectrum's stuff).

Do you use a modem from spectrum and your own router? Or do you use a Spectrum modem+wifi/router device?

I've always had very quick and responsive support. I don't like the price, but they're pretty reliable when you have issues. I've heard Spectrum is transitioning to 500mbps up and down soon, probably in response to FIOS availability and 5G home service.

A good basketball coach brings money into the program and fills seats at games which fund other things (remember the '95-96 UMASS basketball team?). This is a poor example if you're trying to point out waste. Ticket sales from games bring in more than this not counting TV revenue and merchandise.

I don't mind them paying this for good coaches, but I do mind the relatively poor results they've had since Calipari left (he makes over $8 million a year now, btw). This isn't high-school basketball. You're not going to get a coach that can compete for $80k a year, nor would you be able to recruit good players.

I'm guessing you neither care for sports or understand the revenue they bring in.
