Do you know what makes this clipper better than the Wahl Color Pro? I've been using that cheaper model for 3 years so far. As an aside, I like the idea of corded instead of battery for long-term durability, which both of these have.

Knives are meant to be resharpened when they get dull. How sharp it is from the factory should not concern a serious buyer very much.

A commercial kitchen go-to. Great value, practical blade. Keep sharpening it until it's gone. I do throw my wusthof parers in the DW with no problems, but for the money, yeah, these rock. There's a reason the pros use them.

If they can make the iPhone, they can make anything. Virtually nothing is more exacting or complicated and I've never had one that was less than flawless. Often there is an association with production being shipped to China and a drop in quality, but that's because the company is likely trying to cut costs more than one way at the same time. Very common to see materials or specs slip at the same time as outsourcing or the brand gets sold to someone else who keeps the name and lowers the quality.
