Probably on the higher side here but about $1,200 a month for two adults and two toddlers. Mostly organic and we only eat out once a week.

I'm in NJ, having trouble finding contractors for smaller upgrades/fixes but if you are looking to make a large renovation you'll probably be fine.

You won't be able to find financing and I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Make the seller remove it and get certification of removal and a clean environmental record. I'd probably also do my own test as well after theirs.

Great area for nature walks/hikes. There are a ton of parks, reservations and other hidden pathways to explore. Also lots of good restaurants in the surrounding area.

Really? That's surprising. White Plains is definitely more expensive than Nyack imo. Ramsey has a train so you can get around. Not much nightlife anywhere around Mahwah as it's a family oriented suburb area.

Why not move to Mahwah? I lived there for about 5 years and loved it. Otherwise if you are looking for a more lively crowd you could go to Nyack.

Nice! Good luck, I'm a bit away from it but may look to do a team building exercise.
