The did it with McKinley (now Denali) in Alaska, surely they can do it here as well.

Second beach is only about a mile from each way I believe. It’s got a pretty steep hill tho on the backside when heading down to the beach, so if you’re bringing anything in for your elopement, keep that in mind. Shi Shi is a 3 mile hike through the woods one way, so I don’t recommend that one. You might also consider first beach as well. You can park in the lot and just walk right to the beach. Same thing with Kalaloch beach

Go to second beach or Shi Shi, one of the ones you have to hike into. Those will be a ghost town most of the year until the sun makes its yearly 3 month appearance

You’d probably fit in well in Olympia if your political beliefs are blue. They’re pretty progressive out there. Tacoma is okay but the crime rate is pretty insane. They don’t call it Tacompton for nothing. If seeing homeless people is not a regular thing where you live now, you’re in for a culture shock. The homeless have tent cities literally everywhere in Tacoma and Olympia. Now that I got that stuff out of the way, they both have a lot to offer. A lot of work, great food, tons of outdoor fun opportunities extremely close by. It’s super expensive out here but, depending on what job you land, you should be good. The cost of living is outrageous. I’m in the Army and wouldn’t be able to live comfortably if I didn’t live on the base. One of the reasons why I’m leaving. I’ve been here almost 10 years and I love it dearly, I have a deep connection with this state but I can’t afford to live here anymore. I can get by, but I can’t live comfortably and to me that’s no life at all.

I see this on a daily basis. Most people are good with wipers but the amount of idiots I have to flash my brights at as a signal to “turn on your fucking headlights because it’s dark outside” is insane.

Reply to Do you prefer Washington to Massachusetts? by Clollin
Lived in Washington for 5 years, moved to New York for two years, missed Washington and moved back. I’m here now and I sort of hate it. I feel like a lot changed in the time I was gone. I feel like I missed certain aspects of it and maybe missed the nostalgia of it but that was about it. Now that I’m back I just don’t feel at home here anymore. Moving to Colorado this time next year.

Literally came to say this. If it’s not your property then mind your own business
