Took my out-of-state family up there over Thanksgiving weekend and none of us were asked to pay anything.

You're going to be spending like 50% of your take home pay on a non-great apartment ($1700-$1800 rent) at that income. It's doable, but it's going to be tough to get ahead and save unless you have really low expenses.

College football talent is not evenly distributed between divisions. We frequently see instances where two of the best four teams happen to be in the same division. The regular season loser shouldn't be excluded if they are better than the conference champions from other weaker conferences.
